We put in a lot of research into the perfect rims and tires to replace our stock Polaris RZR Turbo S 4 rims and tires.  All the research paid off with a perfect fitting set of STI HD9 Beadlock rims that come in a 6+1 offset.  That is the same offset as stock and allows us to keep our already wide Turbo S about the same width.

When looking for tires, we wanted a true truck inspired tire that is aggressive and square.  One that matched the 32 x 10 sizing, unlike the stock tires that had a 7-1/2" tread width.  We wanted a tire that would hold up in rough terrain and also wear well when used on the road.  All the research took us to the STI X Comp ATR DOT approved tire.  The STI X Comp has an awesome tread pattern that cleans out well but also has sidewall tread that helps to protect from sharp rocks.  The rubber compound is not too hard and not too soft so it is a great all around tire.  While it is 10 ply, it still retains a fairly soft sidewall for a good ride and the ability to air down when in the sand and perform.

Mounting these rims and tires was very exciting as it was clear this was going to change the look of the Turbo S 4 completely.  We mounted up two so we could take the machine outside and see what stock looked like compared to our upgrades side.  The machine completely changed in looks.  The blue machined ring on the beadlock helped to compliment the blue accents on the machine and the width of the new tire made the Turbo S look like it was ready for action.

The stock width of the Polaris RZR Turbo S 4 is 74-3/4" in the front.  With the new wider tires we gained a 1/4" taking it to 75" wide.  We have no clue why Polaris was so willing to put such a small tread width tire on their new flagship machine, but it does give the owner great satisfaction to change out this tire and see what the machine should have looked like from the factory.

We are going to continue to work with these tires and rims and bring you more feedback as the ice thaws and we can hit the trails.
