Another old air conditioner that I thought worthy of some appreciation in the form of a video. I have no idea if it works or not.
Please accept my apologies for the wind noise. It's a thing that happens over here in real life, where air conditioning condensing units are seldom placed in facilities that double as TV studios. While Stewart-Warner branded gauges and instrument are still made, the original company seems to be long gone.
I much prefer the way these old units look with their front mounted fans or condenser coils, although I suppose that having heated air exit from the top of the unit as they do today is much more efficient. (Assuming air comes in from the front of the unit and is exhausted out the top grille, it seems that Stewart-Warner had the best of both designs.)
