I stumbled into this live Intro and then the full first tune from grammy-nominated legendary rock guitarist, Steve Vai's, grammy-nominated and legendary SONG, entitled, "Now We Run". I took on the project of enhancing the audio, just because the performance, as a unit, is even BETTER than the original version you know already (from his grammy-nominated and legendary LIVE DVD, "Where the WILD Things Are", featuring his then grammy-nominated and legendary band, "String Theories", for which I was a full-blown grammy-nominated and legendary member, for three years of my life)... but THIS performance of it is over the top. :)
I'm not only seen here in this video from Curtiba, Brazil, but I was also featured on the official DVD release back in 2010. Our final result from that official DVD release was enough, not only for its subsequent grammy-nomination, but also for having achieved "Gold" sales status, and earning each participant their own Gold Record, issued to each individual by the RIAA (Recording Institute Association of America).
Anyway, I say THIS performance is even BETTER than that one, maybe because of the energy in the room... maybe because of the general "heat" on stage that night... maybe it was an intoxicating combination of both. This performance is just off the charts. I actually REMEMBER this show, so that's already saying a lot right there! lol Just ask Dave.
