Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon has released a strong statement condemning a Florida-based political group that sneaked hidden cameras into local polling places during the August 11 primary.

According to Simon, the individuals dressed in offensive costumes, imitated foreign accents, and falsely claimed to be registered voters to record and edit videos casting doubt on Minnesota’s long-standing election laws. Law enforcement is currently investigating the incident.
