Triathlon legend and gravel star Heather Jackson joins Flagstaff Bound to discuss her highly anticipated 250 mile trail debut. From a high level ice hockey background to becoming the fastest American woman in Ironman history, Heather has spent her life mastering the art of the long game. Now, she’s trading the pavement and the bike for the rugged, technical terrain of the Cocodona 250.
Heather shares her candid fears about the notorious first 37 miles of the course, her strategy for navigating the dreaded second night of sleep deprivation, and how she plans to adapt her "go hard" triathlon mentality to a multi day mountain epic.
