Cutting an insert out of 3.6 mm thick plywood (hardwood throughout) using a Stepcraft 2/840 CNC machine. For further details, see the following section of my website:

Feed rate 2,000 mm/min, plunge rate 120 mm/min, 4 mm diameter four flute solid carbide flat end mill. Industrial quality spindle from stoneycnc.co.uk rotating at 20,000 rpm. Two cuts of 1.675 mm depth per pass each.
