I've improved a lot! Also note, I've been counting my steno progress with the days I've been practicing. So the 1-2 months where I haven't steno'd at all, I didn't count.
Turns out I'm actually faster with the uni keyboard compared to the georgi one... I might not be used to the georgi, but it could also be because I just can't get used to the curve/layout that the georgi has.
In any case/news, I'm still actually really slow when I'm writing messages or doing regular typing tests with steno. I'd say... I'm between 30 and 50 wpm in actuality. It also depends on whether I know how to write every word in the sentence I want to write.
I have a steno spreadsheet where I keep track of all the words I had to look up so I can practice and remember them. Because chances are, if I had to look them up, it's a word that I use often so I need to remember it. Fun fact... the latest word I've added to the spreadsheet is 'yesterday', yeah... I don't know how to write a lot of common words still... that's what's slowing me down a lot I guess...
