Howdy y’all, Lone Star Rider here! 🤠🏍️
Today I traded two wheels for steel rails as I climbed aboard the historic 1880 Train in Keystone, South Dakota, with the Rat Pack for an unforgettable ride through the beautiful Black Hills!
This authentic steam-powered railroad has been carrying passengers through the Black Hills for generations, offering incredible scenery, vintage railcars, and a chance to experience a piece of South Dakota’s rich railroad history. From the sound of the steam whistle to the smell of the locomotive, this is a ride every visitor should experience.
If you’re visiting Mount Rushmore, Keystone, or the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, make time for the 1880 Train—it’s one of the Black Hills’ most iconic attractions and a great way to slow down and enjoy the journey.
