While exploring the beautiful Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I made a stop at the stunning Bridal Veil Falls. This beautiful 60-foot roadside waterfall is one of the easiest natural attractions to visit, with a convenient viewing platform just off Highway 14A.

Bridal Veil Falls is especially impressive during the spring snowmelt when the water is flowing at its strongest. During the winter, it transforms into a popular destination for experienced ice climbers. Whether you’re riding through Spearfish Canyon during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally or simply exploring the Black Hills, this stop is definitely worth adding to your route.

🚫 Please remember: Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the falls from the designated viewing platform and parking area. Hiking or climbing around the waterfall is prohibited to help protect this beautiful natural resource.
