Howdy y'all! 🤠 Lone Star Rider here!

Well... I finally did it!

I made the 300-mile trip from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to Shawnee, Oklahoma to pick up my 2017 Honda Rebel CMX500, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The bike has only around 6,000 miles on it and is in great condition. It's exactly what I was looking for—a lightweight, dependable motorcycle that's the perfect companion for my Riding For A Cure travels.

There are only a few changes I'll be making:
✅ Replace the muffler (it's WAY too loud!)
✅ Add a windshield for longer rides.
✅ Raise the handlebars for a more comfortable riding position.
✅ Fix The dent on the fuel tank.

Other than that... I'm leaving it mostly stock.
One of the biggest reasons I chose the Rebel is because it's the perfect size for towing behind my Riding For A Cure Van. It's easy to load, easy to unload, and gives me the freedom to explore towns, scenic roads, and hidden gems once the Van is parked.

I'm excited to share new adventures, motorcycle reviews, road trips, camping, and travel videos with this new setup.
