Burma / Myanmar 2018 (Panasonic Part 1)
In January 2018 Bernd Seiler of FarRail tours organised a tour to Myanmar/Burma to photograph and video the metre-gauge railway system. Steam haulage abruptly finished in April 2008. Some locos are still available for enthusiast charters

• Alsthom Bo-Bo-Bo DE built 1974
• Bo-Bo-Bo DE reconstructed in 1986 from two 1964 built Alsthom locos
• Alsthom Bo-Bo-Bo DE built 1964
• Chinese (Dalian) Bo-Bo-Bo DH built 2015?

Because of the flat terrain the steam locos did not have to work very hard
