Testing 30 Steam Deck 3D prints in 30 days. Day 26: Bellymate - Adjustable Handheld Stand. Eliminates arm fatigue for couch/bed gaming.

✅ 5h print time
✅ 156g filament
✅ 2x compression springs (easy to find)
✅ 3 adjustable heights
✅ Works with or without case

THE PROBLEM:
Eventually your arms get tired holding your Deck. Need to stretch arms, shake wrists. Arm fatigue is real.

THE SOLUTION:
Bellymate holds your Deck on your stomach/lap. Arms rest, gaming continues.

HARDWARE:
2x compression springs (30mm × 6mm). Got mine at Bunnings for $10 (4-pack, only needed 2). Cheaper on AliExpress. Even pen springs work apparently.

ASSEMBLY:
Five minutes. Straightforward. Creator has step-by-step video on MakerWorld.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT:
Three adjustable heights. Remove tool-less bolt at back, move to height you want, screw back in. Very secure.

Middle height works best for me. You'll find your preferred height.

WITH STEAM DECK:
I have Deck with JSAUX Modcase, fits well. Top and bottom grips hold securely—no wobble.

If no case, print TPU pads creator includes. Protects Deck.

All buttons/ports accessible. Stable for most games.

COMFORT TESTING:
Tested on couch. Rests comfortably. Arms more relaxed, less fatigue.

Difference is noticeable. Eventually when holding Deck you need to stretch or shake wrists. This really helps.

I'll keep using this. More flexible than other belly stand I tested (Day 12). Use with/without case, height adjusts.

ADJUSTMENT:
Not quick to change height, but very secure once you do. Easy to turn tool-less knob. I tried different heights to start, stuck with one.

13° angle refers to fitment of claws and Deck's bottom. Screen clearly visible at any height.

COMPARISON:
Better than pillows.
Better than Day 12 belly stand.
More flexible: case compatibility, adjustable height, less scratching risk.

THE VERDICT:
For Deck owners gaming while laying down on couch/bed—longer sessions. Or anyone experiencing discomfort in those positions.

Verdict: Worth Printing ✅
