DESIGN DIFFERENCES:
Day 2: Rear clips (top/bottom), side-to-rear coverage, smooth texture, bulkier
Day 17: Slides over bottom corners, front + back coverage, textured surface, slimmer
COMFORT:
Day 17 feels more like regular controller grip. Subtle finger ridges on rear, deeper contours, follows Deck shape while adding more to grip onto. Fingers fall naturally on controls with both designs.
PORTABILITY:
Day 17 fits in case WITH grips attached. Day 2's bulk prevents case from closing. For travel, Day 17 wins—slimmer, stays on, no removal needed.
