The 4 DAY ROAD TRIP begins NOW! 🚐🍕 In this first episode, I cross the border into Port Huron for an epic stealth camping adventure and my very first time trying Jet's Pizza famous Detroit-style deep dish pizza! From massive cheese pulls and crispy crust to a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie dessert, this food review turned into one unforgettable van life experience.
After battling border traffic and making it into downtown Port Huron, I set up for a stealth camp overnight in a busy parking lot while documenting the realities of sleeping in a van near the border crossing. I also take you on a full tour of my DIY camper van setup, including the bed platform, electrical system, storage garage, ventilation setup, future renovation plans, and stealth camping safety tips.
This travel vlog also includes a long evening walk through Port Huron, exploring neighborhoods, sunset views, local businesses, historic streets, bike lanes, and the atmosphere of this Michigan border town. The pizza from Jet’s Pizza absolutely delivered with crunchy cheesy edges, fluffy dough, sweet sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, and ranch dipping sauce. Plus, the cookie dessert was insanely rich and decadent!
