Join me for an epic stealth camping adventure in beautiful Wasaga Beach as I explore the town for the first time in over 30 years! In this video, we check out the massive waterfront construction, cruise through the beach town, search for the perfect dinner spot, and eventually settle in for a stealth camping night at Walmart. Along the way, I discover hidden gems, local restaurants, beach views, and some surprising changes happening in Wasaga Beach.
The highlight of this trip was an unforgettable dining experience at Barcelos Restaurant where I tried A5 Kobe beef for the VERY FIRST TIME! From oysters and Caesar salad to bison, mushrooms, Portuguese wine, and an incredible crème brûlée cheesecake, this meal was next-level amazing. Huge thanks to Nelson, Terry, Dan, and the entire team for making this one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.
After dinner, we head out for a long sunset walk, set up the stealth camping van, and wind down with a classic movie night featuring The Fugitive starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.
