Falls can happen to anyone—but they don’t have to be inevitable. The Steady Together Project is a community-wide effort led by the Allen Fire Department to help prevent falls before they happen, especially among our older adult population. Help by donating items that will directly support our new fall-prevention initiative for our older neighbors.
Suggested donations include new, unused:
”Grabbers”/Reaching Tool
Night Lights
Non-Slip Bath Mats
Grab Bars (any length)
Surge Protected Power Strips
Smoke Alarms
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Non-Slip Socks
