In a Statistical Moment, Executive Director Ron Wasserstein shares a glimpse into a rarely seen corner of the ASA headquarters, where a time capsule—created during the association’s 150th anniversary in 1989—has been carefully preserved for decades.
As the ASA prepares for its next chapter and a move to a new headquarters, the time capsule will move, too, remaining sealed until 2039, when it will be opened to celebrate the 200th anniversary.
