The George Washington University Department of Statistics recently celebrated its 90th anniversary, a remarkable milestone for the first statistics department established within a college of arts and sciences. Ron Wasserstein, executive director of the American Statistical Association, joined the celebration to pay tribute to the department’s proud legacy of advancing statistical education and research.
