STATIC is a surreal noir animated short written, directed, and created entirely by Chris Duffy, following a disgraced detective who becomes fixated on an old television discovered at the scene of a crime.
Blending suspense, psychological mystery, and striking visual experimentation, STATIC combines hand-painted 2D artwork with stylized 3D animation to create a haunting world where reality slowly begins to unravel.
Created entirely by Chris Duffy using Blender and Adobe Photoshop, every frame of the film was crafted without the use of AI.
