About the presenters:
-Andy Nieman is a volunteer SCORE mentor who specializes in organizing "startups" and helping the newly formed entity into profitability and creating the investments into retirement planning. Andy is a CPA that worked for a large international firm, then went on to work in the family manufacturing business, and finally became a sole practitioner and added a degree in Personal Finance to aid his small clients. As a mentor, with his partner James Neelankavil, Andy has used his expertise in sales, marketing, accounting, cash flow, and manufacturing to help companies succeed.
-James Neelankavil retired as the Robert E. Brockway Distinguished Professor of Marketing and International Business at the Zarb School of Business of Hofstra University. He has been a consultant to multinational companies for 30 years. He also started a graduate consulting club to assist local area entrepreneurs and small businesses on a pro-bono basis. Through this experience he was able to understand the critical issues that face small business. With his vast teaching and consulting experience, James is able to provide assistance to small business owners, startups, and entrepreneurs in the areas of strategic marketing and business planning.
