In 2017 I was helping grandpa work on his 65 Mustang. The carb was missing pieces (IIRC part of the accelerator pump and choke) and finding another one for the 200ci 6 cylinder was a challenge.
A friend who maintained airport ground equipment told me about Affordable Fuel Injection - several of his Ford 300 powered Tugs had the single point system, and it worked well. I worked with them to get a bolt on system created for the 200.
I did cheat a little in this video by priming the fuel pump a couple times first. But with the sealed system, and electronic ignition this is a genuine "sitting for 2 years" start!
