surprise and happy holidays~~ :D something a little high energy and completely unrelated for the season but at least it's something ey by
man this one's been on the back burner since unconnected marketeers dropped . . . i just couldn't get motivated to write those DANG chorus brass stab patterns u feel me like i had most of the rest of the track figured out so it really felt like an obligation to sit down and lay out what to actually put in there BUT THEN I streamed myself on here doing just that and it was the kick in butt i needed so thanks for indulging me those who showed up to that~
it was a challenging little exercise but i think it came together really well . . . megumu's theme has distinct sections that when i first heard it i KNEWWWW it would be a bangin eurobeat track .. . shockingly nobody else has done this yet but also i guess nobody cares about megumu's boss theme/much of unconnected marketeers' OST compared to WBAWC akjdhaskjdhaskjd idk. and like. fair, there's some good tunes in there but it's not my fav zun ost either. maybe that's why i felt comfortable arranging this one, like i could elevate the 'climax' of the original source with a more distinct melody that u hear in the chorus. chimata's theme has a weak climax too imo so who knows i might take a stab at that one someday too lmao
anyway, this was a nice break from the soundtrack work. im still hammerin away at that. now, my hand has an rsi from goin too hard at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bummer. but i gotta keep going and so i will. very very soon u will get to hear some of my work for it!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT THE FRUITS OF MY LABOR AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA tanoshiminishitekudasaine uwu
