When I play Mario games and get a Starman, I have to move as far as possible to the goal, and maximize the use of the powerup, which usually tenses me up good. Slow the song down some, and it turns into a pretty calming piece. Add in some tropical instruments, and you get a song to sip some umbrella drinks to. Enjoy your drinks on me!

Yet another contest entry. I sure have been doing a lot of these, havent I? I decided I wanted to try something different and attempt a new genre. Im not a huge fan of these newer electronic genres, but I do a like a few tracks here and there. One that I really liked was this cover by Mewmore (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9IhUqYi6-8), so I tried taking elements that I liked from that cover and implementing them here. I definitely had a tough time trying to get my synths just right, which Im imagining is the biggest hurdle of the genre. Anywho, let me know how I did and where I can improve! Whaaaat? Another weekly upload? Yep, thats right. Im moving over to weekly uploads, since Im starting to finish these covers a lot quicker.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land was my first Kirby game, and also one of my main GBA games. This tune, however, I did not remember from the game. I was reminded of this tune due to a certain, very grand channel, listened to the actual source, and then was inspired to cover it. I was also listening to a Stevie Wonder album that I recently got, so some of Stevies inspiration wound up here and there in this mix. I also bought Super Audio Cart, so this tune was also an experiment on using that plugins functions. Overall, its just a fun little mix for a fun little tune!
