Are you aware of the company called Stardust Solutions?
This company is making very rapid progress on Solar Geoengineering (SRM - Solar Radiation Management, or Solar Radiation Methods, solar climate engineering, solar reflection technologies, etc...). They reportedly have 25 engineers/scientists and seed funding of $75 million.
They are working on a full SRM deployment system using a white reflective powder to be deployed in the stratosphere to cool the planet, and their timeline is over the next decade or so. Very significant and very fast.
For many years I have talked about my three-legged-barstool:
Leg 1: Slash Fossil Fueled Emissions
Leg 2: Deploy CDR - Carbon Dioxide Removal, and methane removal technologies to take these GHGs our of the ocean/atmosphere system
Leg 3: Deploy SRM to cool the planet to buy us time to implement Leg 1 and Leg 2
Well folks, this company Stardust Solutions is all about research and actual deployment of Leg 3...
So we had better know what we are doing, and do it right...
