While I only have memories playing the campaign of StarCraft I, I have replayed the individual tracks and the entire OST many times over. Particularly some of the live versions as well. Anyway, here is my rendition of the Terran 1 theme. I won't add any SCV or marine quotes in case I accidentally reference something from StarCraft II instead...

My intention wasn't to try and perfectly mimic the vibe of the original but to attempt to bring a more ominous and industrial vibe when the Terran forces are on the back foot against the likes of the Zerg invasion. It wasn't always plain sailing and I've seen the Mutalisk droves completely obliterate those poor marines many a time over.

I'll always have fond memories of watching a lot of StarCraft II esports and I hope to visit that series soon with a rendition of my own but for now, here's a little taster for what is (hopefully) to come.
