This music was written for the @SpikeyTortoise adaptation of DARK EMPIRE of the Star Wars Extended Universe.
The music was composed by Daniel Ciurlizza, Bill Snyder III, and Roland Bingaman as an experiment—and in preparation—for incorporating traditional Star Wars music with unique scoring styles on future Star Wars projects. Working with Lucasfilm and Disney is a particularly big goal for me.
Within these experiments, we explored using both original themes and styles that John Williams used on the Star Wars feature films, as well as themes and styles that Williams and George Lucas might have had as reference music when creating the original Star Wars films.
