Episode: "Haven"
With the customs of her culture catching up with her, Deanna Troi is faced with the prospect of having to marry Wyatt Miller, the son of one of Deanna's late father's closest friends. Intelligent though Wyatt is however (a medical doctor no less) he meets Deanna with surprise and a little disappointment for he has spent his entire life believing that his wife to be would turn out to be quite literally the woman of his dreams; Wyatt's even rendered this woman in drawings which he tends to keep with him. So it's a bizarre turn of events when a lone plagueship belonging to the Tarellians enters the star system, one of the crewmembers being a young woman, Arianna who is not only that woman from Wyatt's dreams but who has also been dreaming about him for most of her life. - Now what's that all about?
A quick brief on the Tarellians and the grief that they unleashed upon themselves.
