Whilst running at high warp to aid an Earth colony in distress, the Enterprise is halted by a visit from Q. Boasting an irreverence for Captain Picard's motivation to complete his rescue mission, Q insists that mission take second place to a mission of his own; to explore how Commander Riker will behave once he has been given the power of the Q.
I know it's a bit of a cliché but here we see the discipline of one of our protagonists just starting to breakdown under the weight of possessing ultimate power and as we all know, power corrupts... and with great power comes great responsibility!
