Stardate 7152.3
We are beginning a survey of the Pasqal system near what remains of the Bacchus system. The first planet in the system has shown promise in terms of us discovering Tilikaal technology. The planet is M class and home to a pre-warp civilization. They are at a very primitive level of technology similar to the technology known in earth’s middle ages, so our investigation will have to be in secret. Starfleet has had observation satellites in place to monitor the civilization so we know where their population centers are. They seem to be humanoid and similar in appearance to humans. If need be we can have Dr. Tregan disguise us to resemble them, although she herself will probably not have that option, as I don’t think she can hide an extra arm and leg. We are entering orbit as I record this, and are about to start our first detailed scans.
