The Ten Wise Men Raids were added in patch 1.1 along with Chaos difficulty and they drop their jewels (pretty powerful assault characters), new gear, and an Ash Crystal which can be used to upgrade your ultimate weapon.

Lucifer negates your elemental resistances so you kinda wanna buff your magic defense. Otherwise isn't too bad.
