A short but incredible hike in Wisconsin's Northwoods! Star Lake Nature Trail lies hidden in the far Northwoods of Wisconsin about 20 miles north and west of Eagle River, WI. Jen and I came here with zero knowledge of what this trail might be like. I think we looked at each other in amazement of the surroundings more than a few times. The black lagoon area was quiet and calm and had an almost magical beauty about it. A perfect day with perfect weather and a feeling of being blessed by God to see His wonderous creation! The Star Lake Nature Trail is a 2.04 loop and is rated as easy. Put this one on your bucket list of trails to hike!
