Recently, news broke that ABC networks refused to hear the pitch for a new series produced by legendary actor Sylvester Stallone and starring Dolph Lundgren. The reason given was that the show was "too masculine" and that ABC was focused on "female centric" shows. This caused major outrage on Twitter as people pointed to this decision as proof that Disney, the parent company of ABC, was pushing an anti-male feminist agenda. But is that really the case? In this video, I offer a counter-argument to the "feminist programming" viewpoint and share what I think is really going on.
