This video previews upcoming construction of a large lid over SR 520 in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood. Over four weekends in winter 2021, crews will place 114 girders over the highway, which will form the framework of the lid. When work is complete in 2023, the multipurpose lid will include a transit hub, trails, and greenspace.
