A recording of an online lunch and learn we held on May 11, 2022. This lunch and learn discusses a project to replace three fish barriers that carry unnamed tributaries to Hylebos Creek under SR 161 near Federal Way. The new passages will increase potential habitat for fish spawning and rearing. These culverts are subject to the 2013 federal court injunction requiring us to speed up fish passage work and open 90 percent of habitat blocked by culverts under state highways by 2030.
