A compact roundabout is being constructed at the intersection of US 395 and SR 292 commonly known as "Four Corners" in Loon Lake. The roundabout, which includes a crosswalk, will aim to improve driver and pedestrian safety. Since 2014, there have been 30 collisions at the "Four Corners" intersection in Stevens County, including seven last year. A compact roundabout is a smaller version of a regular, single lane roundabout and has a completely mountable center island if required for later freight vehicles.
