My first squib load with factory ammunition... EVER! I've had a couple over the years from handloads and I've seen a dozen or so from others handloads, but factory ammo should not do this. This was PPU PRVI Partizan 380 ACP JHP 95 gr.
Were I to guess, I would think that the powder failed to ignite due to either a weak primer, bad powder, or a combination. The loads did not seem very energetic compared to all of the other .380 I've shot in the past.
