In that video, he uses nail gun blanks to fire pellets. In the description, he asks for help chronographing the pellets. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

I take the three available power loadings, a rifle, a pistol, a chronograph, and some testicular fortitude to the range. Bottom line: the fastest pellet went a blistering 2,864 feet per second from an 18 inch barrel. That's 255 foot-pounds of energy putting it in the realm of 22 Magnum loads!
