What a way to start an adventure! Driving up through several states to a place called Snake Road in Illinois. Snake Road is an excellent place. It has great habitats with Bluffs and lowlands. The snakes in the area migrate during different times of the season. With that type of habitat and climate, it makes it a great place to see snakes. In this video, we find some snakes and salamanders, but our main focus was the 2024 total eclipse. What a fantastic experience! 
However, the trip isn’t over yet. My daughter and I will travel to Missouri, Arkansas, and the Mississippi Delta in upcoming videos.
