Ah. It felt great to be out there. I found out on reddit the park was opening back up. I gave them a call in the morning to verify and headed out to Hunting Hollow.
When I called, they mentioned the water was pretty high at Coyote Creek at China Hole. Also the first few crossings South East out of Hunting Hollow.
The last time I went, it was close to knee deep so I wanted to avoid those areas for now.
As for gear, I took out the new 2023 Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 40-60. I also brought the Navy Blue 15D NatureHike Mongar 2 freestanding tent and the Hammock Gear Quest tarp. Rain was expected in the morning, so wanted to try out some configurations.
