Lately I've been processing wood in the backyard. There's some pieces that are incredibly hard and heavy. I recently ordered a hatchet to help process the wood but it nudged me to continue restoring my Dad's old Japanese Nata axe. There's still work to be done but made some good progress.
Using the Nata and Real Steel Pathfinder, I carved out a new batoning bat/club with one of the pieces of hardwood. Along with a wedge I carved, I finally was able to split a piece.
