We're hopping on the Iiyama Line in northern Nagano for a spring day trip, letting rock, paper, scissors decide what we do along the way! Starting in Nagano Prefecture and crossing into Niigata, the line winds through some beautiful countryside popping with cherry blossoms. As always, things don't entirely go to plan but that's the fun of a travel day on one of Japan's quieter, scenic local lines.
