Before heading off on my third car/bike camping trip, I decided to put up my tent and my new DD Hammock 3m x 3m tarp on the grounds of the continuous care retirement community, Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg, where we live. I found a nice shady spot under a large tree and went about doing just that. My purpose was twofold: first to experiment erecting my 2-person tent under the tarp and, second and more important, was to spray one side of the tarp and the exterior of the tent with Permethrin, a spray that supposedly keeps ticks away. This short, three times speed video documents all but the spraying.
