In this episode I show a short film I've made about Sarah Kite's 1989 exposure of Huntingdon Research Centre (as it was called then).
As a brief introduction:
- I talk about the effect this undercover work had in terms of focus on Covance, on vivisection and how it helped shape the Animal LIberation movement for a decade and even beyond.
- I give examples of how it inspired people.
Most importantly Sarah gives first hand accounts of what life is actually like for the beagles in the labs.
It is a distressing story, but one that we can all learn so much from and hopefully be inspired by.
