"Badger" was the code name UK Special Branch Police gave me in their 1991 'Operation Lance' investigation and surveillance into the activities of the Manchester cell of the Animal Liberation Front.
In my involvement as a young man I came into contact with the police and prison authorities on numerous occasions.
Crime and prison stories are especially popular these days and I'm known for telling mine, so I thought I would try to recount the best one's with you on the channel in 10 minute chapters, in some sort of attempt at a chronological order too.
I hope that you will find them of interest and I will give a brief outline in my forthcoming 1st Episode of some of the themes and stories you can expect to hear along with stories of my first 2 arrests in 1990 (public order) outside a fur shop and then 1991 (Actual Bodily Harm) on a police sergeant at a Boots riot.
Episode 2 will be my 3rd arrest for conspiracy to commit criminal damage as part of the Manchester Conspiracy, with subsequent chapters on my remand to young offenders, of which there are a plethora of chapters to cover!
Then there is the following decade of activism, arrests, trials and prisons.
