Let's get downright creepy with this Halloween ghost painting! I'm going to show you how, using only black and white, you can layer shadows and highlights, push things deep into the distance, and pull things closer. This is a super fun technique, and whether you're a Halloween fan or not, I hope you learn something valuable from this painting.
I’m painting on a 5x7-in canvas board, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• #8 filbert
• #3 filbert
• #0 round
All brushes are available on my website at paintingwithjane.com/brushes
I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
But you can use any colors you like.
