Update from Spokane. Officials have confirmed one of the three fires that started this disaster was arson — a 37-year-old man is in custody. Over 10,000 acres burned, 600+ structures destroyed, containment at just 13%. No confirmed deaths, but the fire is still burning.
After my last video, the response from you all was overwhelming — volunteers, contractors, equipment, and offers to help. This is where things stand: what we know, what we're planning, and how we're organizing a real response.
We're working to set up as a 501(c) nonprofit so any donations are fully transparent. In the meantime, if you're in the Spokane area, want to volunteer, or want to stay updated on what we're doing, email me directly and I'll add you to the list.
