10 years ago, I probably would have laughed if someone told me that WestJet had any chance of creating a competitive international business class product.

I’ve basically always considered them to the that “other” (little) Canadian airline that was too set in their ways to innovate. The thought of them flying 787s around the world seemed…aspirational at best.

Thankfully, I’ve been proven wrong. This video highlights my first ever experience with WestJet 787-9 business class, and I’m not to proud to admit that they’re as competitive as any other global airline.

I had seat 4K for this 4 hour flight from Toronto to Calgary, and the aircraft registration was C-GYRS.
