A shoutout to @heroskeepgaming who suggested Splitgate to me after asking on twitter what a good noob friendly online game was that wasn't fully of smurfs and sweats. I downloaded it on the PS4 and Steam today. It's a fun, Halo-meets-Portal free to play online game, but I'm betting most people have heard of it. It's free to play, even on the PS4 if you don't have a playstation plus subscription. I'm playing the casual modes, so the game is pretty chill. If you're looking for an online game that isn't the sweat-fest, look into Splitgate, especially if you're a Halo fan. I haven't checked it, but it is also supposedly free to play on Xbox platforms, even without a gold subscription.
