Creative Cat Productions | Splatterhouse review for TurboGrafx-16 and Sega Genesis @creativecatproductions | Uploaded October 2019 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Last year we made a video featuring the top 10 Sega Genesis games to play during Halloween. It wasn’t widely circulated, but my daughter and I filmed a goofy horror movie parody at the front of the Splatterhouse section of that video which we think should be given it’s own space and time. Here it is.

Splatterhouse is a pretty good video game series by Namco form the late 80s and early 90s that’s always been more about style over substance. October is a great chance to play this horror classic, since it’s really most fun as a thing for getting in the mood for spookier things. I’ve never liked Japanese portrayals of horror very much, but Splatterhouse gets closest to my western sentiments.

Thank you for watching!
