Splatoon Raiders is out now exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video tests the frame rate across a range of areas using a custom frame rate analysis tool.
Tested on Nintendo Switch 2.
The test covers the Hideout Ship, the floating wooden base sitting in the middle of the ocean that acts as your hub, before moving out to several of the tropical themed Spirhalite Islands and down into the subterranean areas beneath them. Every area outside the base includes battles against Salmonids, which is where the game puts the most pressure on the hardware with waves of enemies, ink effects and gadget explosions all firing at once.
The tool measures real framerate by detecting duplicate frames to calculate true FPS separately from the container rate, alongside per frame frametime data that reveals stuttering and inconsistencies that average FPS figures would otherwise hide. That distinction matters in a game like this, where the difference between a stable raid and a choppy one comes down to frame pacing as much as the raw number.
Whether you are a Splatoon Raiders player curious about how the game holds up during busy raids, or a fan of Switch 2 performance analysis, this test covers the full range of environments the game throws at you. Subscribe for more Nintendo Switch 2 frame rate tests.
